As a Shift Supervisor, you will hold a vital leadership position, directly influencing the quality of customer experience and operational efficiency within the Taco Bell location. Your role will revolve around setting the standard for excellent customer service, ensuring that every guest receives prompt, courteous, and accurate service reflecting Taco Bell's brand standards. You will work closely with the Assistant Manager and General Manager to maintain smooth day-to-day operations that meet company expectations and safety regulations.

In this capacity, you will lead and oversee a team of crew members, motivating them to perform assigned tasks while upholding food safety protocols and maintaining a clean, safe working environment. Operating within a fast-paced environment, you will also take on cashiering roles including dining room and drive-thru operations, ensuring seamless customer transactions.

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years or older
  • obtain a food handler's certificate according to state or local requirements
  • legally authorized to work in the United States
  • must have reliable transportation
  • maintain a professional appearance and good hygiene standards
  • ability to work flexible hours, arrive at work on time and be dependable
  • one year supervisor role experience

Job Duties

  • Drive excellent customer service and maintain company standards
  • oversee a team of associates in a fast-paced environment while ensuring that all proper food safety precautions are satisfied
  • draw up weekly schedules, order merchandise, and assist the General Manager with training, recruiting, promotions and planning
  • perform duties of a dining room cashier, drive-thru cashier, and drive-thru outside order taker
  • ensure food safety, quality, and sanitation including receiving shipments and maintaining proper storage of ingredients and supplies
  • train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures
  • ensure the facility and equipment are maintained to Taco Bell standards
  • follow proper opening and closing procedures
  • maintain guest and employee safety
