Cotti Foods Group is a franchisee of Taco Bell, a renowned fast-food restaurant chain known for its innovative and craveable Mexican-inspired menu. Cotti Foods Group is currently seeking a General Manager to lead one of its bustling Taco Bell restaurants. This leadership role is pivotal to the daily operations and long-term success of the restaurant. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire restaurant operation, including managing a dedicated team, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety, and delivering an excellent customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people development and the ability to create a positive and productive work environment that motivates staff to consistently perform at their best.

The General Manager's responsibilities go beyond daily restaurant operations. This role involves strategic planning and execution, such as budget management and financial oversight, analyzing sales and labor costs, and implementing corrective actions to meet business goals. Hiring, training, and developing team members are critical to building a strong workforce committed to the brand values and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will also handle customer relations, resolve issues promptly, promote health and safety compliance, and maintain the physical appearance and cleanliness of the facility.

The General Manager ensures that all Taco Bell standards, including food safety, quality control, and sanitation, are rigorously followed, and that operational procedures such as opening and closing shifts are properly executed. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years or older
  • obtain a food handler's certificate according to state or local requirements
  • legally authorized to work in the United States
  • must have reliable transportation
  • maintain a professional appearance and good hygiene standards
  • ability to work flexible hours, arrive to work on time and be dependable
  • 2 years quick service and fast-food restaurant experience
  • 2 years food management experience (preferred)
  • 2 years drive-thru experience (preferred)

Job Duties

  • Drive excellent customer service and maintain company standards
  • ensure crew members and shift supervisors complete all assigned duties and serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner
  • analyze sales, labor, inventory, and controllables on a continual basis and take corrective action to meet or achieve margin and sales growth targets
  • oversee a team of associates in a fast-paced environment while ensuring that all proper food safety precautions are satisfied
  • manage the restaurant budget and financial plans
  • engage in clear, consistent communications with field leadership and restaurant staff on a frequent basis
  • build an effective team through training and development
  • supply meaningful and timely performance feedback
  • ensure food safety, quality, and sanitation including receiving shipments and maintaining proper storage of ingredients and supplies
  • oversee periodic health, safety, and security audits and initiate corrective action as necessary
  • ensure the facility and equipment are maintained to Taco Bell standards
  • follow proper opening and closing procedures
  • maintain guest and employee safety
