Additional duties include planning and coordinating IT equipment installations, relocations, upgrades, and security protocols. Maintaining a comprehensive inventory of all technological devices and managing network disk space are also critical components of this job. The technician must ensure that all backup tapes are securely stored, adhering to disaster recovery protocols. Beyond technical tasks, the role requires clear and professional communication skills when addressing guest service needs, assisting coworkers, and following company policies and procedures diligently. The IT Technician acts as the initial point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process, fostering positive internal relations and supporting the hotel's team environment.

Physical demands of the job may include lifting or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds, standing or sitting for extended periods, and navigating stairs or ramps as part of daily tasks. The position highlights a blend of technical skill, physical capability, and interpersonal communication, making it suitable for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, guest-centered environments.
