Key responsibilities include detailed investigation and documentation of future-state operational specifications, analyzing application capabilities, workflows, data collection, and reporting functions. This role is integral in prioritizing and implementing system changes requested by end users, serving as the bridge between end-user needs and Epic implementation teams, and ensuring the consistent improvement of system functionality, efficiency, and the user experience. Additionally, the position requires collaboration on the development of internal procedures associated with Epic applications, thorough testing of new releases, and oversight of production support activities. The job demands deep knowledge of clinical or IT systems to support safe, high-quality patient care through effective use of electronic health records.
