The role of System Administrator III, Health Systems (Epic MyChart) is pivotal within the Clinical Care and Patient Engagement Technologies department. This senior-level position requires a subject matter expert skilled in the analysis, design, configuration, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of Epic applications. The System Administrator III will lead large-scale projects, system implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives. Responsibilities include identifying opportunities for system functionality improvements, operational efficiency enhancements, and better end-user experiences. The role involves supporting all phases of the application lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to build, testing, implementation, training, optimization, and production support. Job Requirements
- Minimum two years experience working with Epic or comparable health system software or minimum two years scripting or programming experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, social science, education, business, health care or related field and minimum three years working in IT or operations, additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
- Must work onsite at facility in Greensboro, NC
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and technical teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to meeting deadlines and project timelines
- Ability to adapt to evolving healthcare technology and regulatory standards
Job Qualifications
