Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is a distinguished private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system serving a vast 22-county region encompassing North Florida and South Georgia. The available role at TMH is a dynamic Network Analyst II position situated within the IT Infrastructure Services department. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining, analyzing, and enhancing the complex information technology infrastructure that supports the healthcare system's operations. The Network Analyst II is responsible for analyzing both local and wide area network systems, designing and evaluating network architecture, and selecting appropriate operating systems and protocol suites. The professional in this role configures communication media with devices such as concentrators and bridges, contributing to the robust and reliable network services that the organization relies upon for delivering high-quality healthcare. This role offers opportunity for involvement in advanced technological development, helping to guide innovative ideas from conceptualization through to their implementation. The Network Analyst II collaborates closely with the Project Support Services team, advising on all infrastructure-related needs and ensuring systems remain both current and effective. Providing routine monitoring and diagnostics of network performance is also a core duty, requiring the use of specialized diagnostic equipment and tools to rapidly identify and resolve issues. Additionally, the position entails responding to user requests concerning system hardware and software upgrades, executing maintenance tasks on various systems such as electronic mail and server infrastructures. The role demands availability for an on-call rotation to address urgent infrastructure matters, emphasizing the importance of responsiveness in supporting uninterrupted healthcare delivery. Reporting directly to the Director of IT Infrastructure Services, this position also contributes mentorship and guidance to junior Network Analyst I staff, fostering a collaborative work environment that enhances IT service delivery. This position is ideal for an individual with at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, supplemented by at least two years of relevant professional experience. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Analyzes complex local and wide area network systems including planning designing evaluating selecting operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators bridges and other devices

- Advises Project Support Services team on all infrastructure related requirements
- Conducts routine monitoring of communications performance using visual diagnostic equipment tools status indicator checking methods to locate problems
- Recommends and responds to user requests for system hardware and software upgrades and changes and provides maintenance support for various systems such as electronic mail or other server systems
