Restaura, part of the Phoenix3 Collective portfolio, is a renowned hospitality and culinary culture company specializing in food and dining management services for senior living and active aging communities. With its commitment to innovation and exceptional service, Restaura is reshaping the standards of food and dining management by leveraging state-of-the-art technology, data analytics, and forward-thinking strategies. This company combines the latest advancements in nutrition science, culinary artistry, and hospitality to deliver extraordinary dining experiences that are tailored specifically to the unique needs of its clientele. By focusing on both quality and innovation, Restaura ensures that every meal served not only delights the palate but also supports the health and well-being of elderly residents. The company prides itself on creating a warm, home-like dining atmosphere while maintaining the highest standards of sanitation, safety, and food quality.
The role of System Executive Chef at Restaura is a pivotal leadership position within a high volume, multi-site client facility. This executive role demands a results-driven, vision-oriented, and operations-focused professional who is passionate about developing and executing culinary solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations. The System Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, managing culinary staff, and ensuring consistent quality and presentation across menus designed specifically for elderly residents. This role requires an individual who can leverage their culinary expertise alongside executive management skills to inspire and delight customers through innovative culinary programs and superior hospitality services.
The System Executive Chef plays an integral role in customer satisfaction and the nurturing of long-term customer relationships. Key areas of responsibility include balanced menu planning, kitchen operations, food preparation, financial and inventory management, collaboration with various stakeholders, client and community engagement, as well as ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. This role also involves training and developing staff, maintaining organized kitchen environments, and contributing to the overall positive dining experience by fostering a resident-centered atmosphere. Beyond culinary duties, the System Executive Chef supports daily kitchen functions and occasionally acts as Dining Supervisor to uphold service standards.
Candidates for this role should bring a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in senior living culinary management, including at least 3 years in leadership positions. Strong culinary skills are essential, and certifications such as ACF or CIA are preferred. The ability to manage operations efficiently while adhering to food safety and regulatory standards is critical, alongside proven leadership, communication, and time-management skills. Familiarity with culinary technology tools is also a key requirement. Physically, the role demands the ability to stand for prolonged periods, work in high-heat environments, and lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional travel for training or support.
Restaura values a culture of learning and growth, encouraging candidates who may not meet every requirement but demonstrate determination and the ability to make a meaningful impact to apply. This approach ensures a diverse and dynamic team dedicated to advancing the future of senior living dining through culinary excellence and innovation.
