Job Requirements
- high school diploma or G.E.D
- one year clerical experience involving public contact customer service and phone answering
- pleasant speaking voice and ability to handle difficult situations and interruptions courteously and professionally
- ability to communicate accurately and effectively verbally and in writing
- ability to pass Michigan State Police Clearance check
- ability to pass pre-employment 5-panel drug screen

Job Duties
- operate a central switchboard receiving and referring incoming calls to appropriate offices programs or personnel
- greet walk-in visitors and clients providing routine information or directing them to correct services
- carry out program activities in accordance with CMHA-CEI mission policies and procedures
- handle difficult situations people and multiple interruptions courteously and professionally
- communicate accurately and effectively both verbally and in writing
