The role of Line Cook at Sixty Vines is a key position within the kitchen team. This job involves cooking and preparing a variety of food items according to specific recipes while focusing on quality, presentation, and timing. Candidates will be responsible for ensuring that all food products meet the high standards set by the Chef Partner before they are cooked, plated, and served. The Line Cook plays a crucial role in executing menu items accurately within designated time frames, supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen, and contributing to an exceptional guest dining experience. The position offers a flexible schedule and an average earning of $23 to $26 per hour. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role preferred
  • ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to follow recipes and instructions precisely
  • good physical stamina and strength
  • current Food Handler's Certification

Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to read and understand tickets
  • stand for long periods of time
  • lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
  • maintain a current Food Handler's Certification and practice proper sanitation procedures

Job Duties

  • Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner
  • prepare all food products according to the prescribed methods and recipes
  • follow and maintain outlined cook times for all prepared items
  • maintain the highest level of food quality possible
  • receive and store all products according to local health regulations
  • maintain a clean and safe kitchen and work environment
  • maintain clean and dry floors
