The Line Cook role at Sixty Vines is an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals passionate about delivering exceptional food and service. Working as a Line Cook means playing a critical part in the kitchen team that brings seasonal recipes to life with precision and care. This role requires preparing food items following specific recipes and ensuring that each dish meets the highest standards before it reaches the guest. Timeliness is key, as all menu items must be executed within prescribed cook times to maintain quality and efficiency under the guidance of the Chef Partner. This position offers competitive pay ranging from $19 to $22 per hour, based on experience, and is designed to support work-life balance with flexible scheduling options.
In addition to competitive compensation, Sixty Vines offers a robust package of benefits that encourage personal and professional growth. Employees can take advantage of insurance options after 60 days, provided minimum hours are met, and enjoy paid time off starting after one year of service contingent on average hours worked. A unique aspect of working at Sixty Vines includes quarterly wine country trips and opportunities for WSET or Sommelier certification, fostering an enriching work environment that combines career development with cultural experiences.
As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing all food products according to meticulous methods and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen environment. You will also actively collaborate with your coworkers and management to deliver a welcoming dining experience. This position demands adherence to local health regulations, including maintaining a current Food Handler's Certification, proper storage, sanitation guidelines, and safe operation of all kitchen equipment. Professionalism, punctuality, and efficient communication are critical, making the Line Cook an integral part of the Sixty Vines kitchen family.
