Job Description
Sixty Vines is a renowned restaurant that takes pride in its chef-driven menus inspired by the seasonal cuisine of wine country. The dishes are crafted using fresh, local ingredients, and each is brought to the table from an open scratch kitchen. Guests at Sixty Vines enjoy a dining experience where food and wine are perfectly paired, guided by a knowledgeable staff passionate about enhancing the flavors of every dish with the ideal glass of wine. The environment reflects a blend of casual elegance and sophistication, ideal for wine lovers and food enthusiasts alike.
The role available at Sixty Vines is for a Host or Hostess. This position is pivotal as the first point of contact for guests, requiring a hospitable and professional demeanor to greet and seat diners. The Host/Hostess will manage reservations, handle incoming calls promptly and courteously, and maintain cleanliness and organization in key front-of-house areas including the entrance and hostess stand. This is a dynamic role that not only ensures guests receive a warm welcome but also helps create a memorable dining experience by managing wait times, directing guests appropriately, and providing accurate information about the restaurant's offerings and special events. The role offers flexible schedules, an average pay of $17 or more per hour inclusive of tips, and attractive benefits including insurance after 60 days, paid time off, and opportunities for wine country trips and sommelier certification. This is a great opportunity for individuals who want to engage with guests in a lively, dynamic setting and be part of a team that values hospitality, professionalism, and passion for food and wine.
