The role of Host/Hostess at Sixty Vines is integral to providing the welcoming atmosphere and seamless dining experience that guests expect. Hosts and hostesses are the first point of contact for diners, tasked with greeting and seating guests in a hospitable, friendly, and efficient manner. This position requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a vibrant, energetic demeanor. Hosts manage an important part of the restaurant's operations, including handling reservations, managing guest wait times, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the entrance and hostess station areas. The role also involves answering telephone calls promptly with a positive attitude and providing guests with accurate information about the restaurant's offerings, hours, and special events.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to stand and walk for long periods
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- Fun, energetic, and professional attitude
- ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- prior restaurant experience desired but not required
Job Duties
- Greet and seat all guests in a hospitable, friendly, and timely manner
- handle all incoming telephone calls before the third ring using professional verbiage and a positive tone
- maintain a clean entrance area, hostess stand, and women's restroom
- manage reservations system including seating within reservation times and quoting accurate wait times
- escort guests to assigned tables engaging in light conversation
- interact with guests and co-workers professionally
- assist in bussing tables during busy periods
