Job Description

Sixty Vines is a chef-driven restaurant renowned for its commitment to seasonal cuisine that reflects the vibrant flavors of wine country. Dedicated to using fresh, local ingredients, Sixty Vines offers guests an exceptional dining experience presented through dishes crafted in an open-scratch kitchen. The restaurant prides itself on pairing each dish with the perfect glass of wine by leveraging the knowledge and passion of its skilled staff, creating a harmonious balance where food truly tastes better with wine. Sixty Vines stands out not only for its culinary excellence but also for its inviting atmosphere and an emphasis on educating guests about food and wine pairing to enhance their dining journey.

As a busser or food runner at Sixty Vines, you will be an integral part of the front-of-house team, ensuring that guests receive seamless and attentive service. This role centers around providing friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable support to servers, bartenders, and fellow team members while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the restaurant. From delivering food and drinks accurately to assisting with special cleaning projects, you will help create a positive dining atmosphere where guests feel welcomed and valued.

The position requires punctuality, professionalism, and a strong work ethic, as employees are expected to arrive ready to work in adherence to uniform and grooming standards. Your responsibilities will include assembling and disassembling workstations, restocking supplies, polishing silverware and glassware, and properly handling all equipment to maintain the smooth operation of the restaurant. Knowledge of food and beverage menus, as well as host stand procedures, is essential to support the overall guest experience effectively.

Sixty Vines places a strong emphasis on safety and compliance, including adherence to all state and federal laws regarding food and alcohol service. Employees must maintain certifications such as Food Handler's and TABC and consistently practice proper sanitation and alcohol service protocols. This fosters a safe, lawful, and professional environment for both staff and guests.

The company values flexibility and employee well-being, offering benefits such as flexible schedules, paid time off after one year of service, insurance options after 60 days for qualifying employees, and opportunities for WSET or Sommelier certification. These benefits reflect Sixty Vines' commitment to supporting its team members' growth and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. By joining the team, individuals become part of a collaborative environment that encourages positivity, hospitality, and enthusiasm.

If you are passionate about contributing to an exceptional dining experience, enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant setting, and want to be part of a team that celebrates the relationship between food and wine, a role at Sixty Vines as a busser or food runner is a rewarding opportunity to grow your career in hospitality.
