Job Description

Sixty Vines is a renowned restaurant brand that specializes in delivering chef-driven menus inspired by the seasonal cuisine of wine country. At Sixty Vines, the focus is on fresh, locally sourced ingredients prepared in an open-scratch kitchen environment. This commitment to quality and freshness creates a unique dining experience where guests can enjoy expertly paired dishes with the perfect glass of wine. The restaurant emphasizes a knowledge-driven staff who are well-equipped to guide guests through wine selections to complement their meals, enhancing the overall culinary experience. The establishment maintains a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that reflects the charm and elegance of the wine country, making it a destination for both casual diners and wine enthusiasts alike.

The role offered at Sixty Vines is for Busser and Food Runners, essential team members who support the flow and efficiency of the restaurant operations. This position involves tasks that ensure the restaurant maintains a high standard of cleanliness and food service. Busser and Food Runners are responsible for efficient and friendly service, helping servers, bartenders, and other team members by maintaining tables and delivering food and drinks to guests. The job requires a keen eye for detail, ensuring that tables are properly set up, cleared, and polished throughout the shift. Additionally, they support the overall restaurant environment by participating in cleaning projects and maintenance tasks as needed.

Working at Sixty Vines is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that values hospitality, teamwork, and a passion for food and wine. The position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment, enjoy providing excellent customer service, and take pride in contributing to a memorable dining experience. Sixty Vines offers flexible schedules to accommodate employees' needs, and after one year of service with minimum average hours worked, employees are entitled to five days of paid time off (PTO). Insurance benefits are available after 60 days, provided minimum average hours requirements are met. Furthermore, the company supports professional growth through WSET or Sommelier certification opportunities, enhancing employees' knowledge and expertise in wine and hospitality.

This role requires adherence to professional grooming and uniform standards to maintain the restaurant's upscale and polished appearance. Employees must wear an ironed shirt, black apron, wrinkle-free black pants, slip-resistant shoes, and black socks. Professional grooming standards include styled hair, limited jewelry, and natural makeup when applicable. The restaurant also upholds strict safety and sanitation regulations, ensuring that all food and beverage service complies with state and federal laws. Busser and Food Runners play a crucial role in maintaining this compliance by handling food and alcohol service responsibly and ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of all equipment and utensils.

Sixty Vines endorses an equal opportunity employment environment and participates in the E-Verify program to confirm the employment eligibility of all new hires.
