Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to read, write, and speak English
  • physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift at least 50 pounds
  • proficiency in using knives and relevant equipment
  • current Food Handler's Certification and TABC Certification
  • adherence to sanitation and alcohol service laws

  • properly use knife and other equipment required for tasks
  • maintain current Food Handler's Certification and TABC Certification
  • practice proper sanitation and follow alcohol sale and service regulations

Job Duties

  • Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner
  • arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work
  • properly wear the uniform while in work areas and assemble/disassemble the bar area according to procedures
  • maintain cleanliness of the entire bar during shift
  • prepare all drinks, garnishes, mixers, syrups according to proper recipe procedure
  • assist guests with menu questions and further knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine
  • handle all cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
  • execute proper food delivery, placement, and removal at tables
  • pre-bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant
  • communicate questions or issues to management promptly
  • work collaboratively with coworkers and management in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
  • perform opening and closing duties including cleaning and sanitizing workstations
  • set up the team for the next shift
  • practice proper sanitation procedures and follow alcohol service regulations
  • participate in continuing education courses
  • maintain beverage inventory at proper temperatures and restock service bar
  • assist in washing and restocking glassware
  • maintain records of spills and comps
  • clean and maintain all necessary equipment and utensils
  • report equipment issues immediately
  • possess complete knowledge of food and bar menu and mix drinks according to specified recipes
