The back/service bartender role at Sixty Vines is integral to maintaining the smooth operation of the dining room and bar service. This position requires preparing and delivering drinks and alcoholic beverages following established recipes and quality standards while ensuring a clean and well-organized work area. Beyond beverage preparation, the role includes assisting wait staff with food delivery and table bussing to uphold swift and efficient service. Daily tasks demand attention to detail, including assembling and dismantling the workstation promptly, restocking the service bar, maintaining adequate ice levels, and replacing beer kegs—all vital for seamless service. The bartender must interact professionally and warmly with guests and team members alike while adhering to all uniform and sanitation standards. Maintaining beverage inventory at proper temperatures and managing cleanliness and equipment upkeep are also essential responsibilities. Job Duties
- Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner
- arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work
- wear proper uniform at all times while in work areas
- assemble and dismantle work station promptly
- maintain cleanliness of station during shift
- prepare all drinks, garnishes, mixers, syrups, etc. according to proper recipe procedures
- bus tables and assist with efficient operation of the dining room by tending to guests' needs, including beverage delivery
- maintain beverage inventory at proper serving temperatures and restock the service bar with necessary supplies before each shift
- maintain adequate levels of ice for drink preparation
- assist in washing and restocking glassware for bar and guest usage
- replace beer kegs with ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs
- maintain records of spills and comps
- empty all service bar trash
- clean and maintain equipment and utensils
- report any equipment issues immediately
- communicate and work as a team with coworkers and management
- follow management instructions and suggestions
- read and understand tickets including menu items and modifications
- sweep and mop bar floors
