The Sushi Training Manager role is a newly created position essential to supporting the franchise network's ongoing development. This role is based in Charlotte, with significant travel required to visit franchise locations across the country. The primary responsibility involves delivering comprehensive training programs to franchisees and their staff, ensuring adherence to brand standards, operational procedures, and strict food safety practices. The manager will audit franchise stores to assess compliance with established protocols and implement improvements wherever necessary to enhance operational efficiency and food quality. This position requires someone with professional sushi preparation experience who can effectively communicate and train sushi chefs and kitchen teams.

A key element of this role is fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the franchise network by providing hands-on support, training, and guidance. The Sushi Training Manager will work closely with franchisees to identify opportunities for operational growth and ensure that all locations maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality. The role offers a competitive salary in the $55,000 to $65,000 range plus bonus opportunities, benefits, and paid time off. Job Requirements

  • Must have professional experience preparing sushi
  • Prior experience training other sushi chefs is desirable
  • Quick service restaurant experience is highly desirable
  • Must have food safety experience
  • Must be willing to travel extensively to franchisee locations

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Maintain and update training materials and resources as needed
