Over the years, Kura Sushi has expanded its presence internationally, now operating over 540 locations across Japan, Taiwan, and the United States. The company is renowned as the pioneer of the "revolving sushi" concept, combining cutting-edge technology with premium ingredients to offer a unique, affordable, and memorable dining experience for its guests.
Kura Sushi prides itself on blending tradition with innovation to enhance customer satisfaction through speed, quality, and interactive service. The company culture centers around teamwork, passion for food, and a commitment to excellence, making it an inspiring place to work. Their Goodyear location is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join the Kura Krew as Line Cooks/Prep Cooks. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about culinary arts, eager to learn, and passionate about contributing to a fast-paced and dynamic food service environment.
The Line Cook/Prep Cook roles at Kura Sushi involve preparing fresh, high-quality sushi and other Japanese-inspired dishes according to the company’s exacting standards. Employees are expected to be organized, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about food safety and restaurant cleanliness to ensure a safe and enjoyable dining experience. The positions are available as both full-time and part-time, with flexible scheduling options designed to promote work-life balance. Availability during days, nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred to meet the operational demands of the restaurant.
At Kura Sushi, employees receive competitive hourly wages starting at $15.75 per hour, plus tips which can significantly boost overall earnings. For example, combined wage and tips can average $21.75 per hour, depending on individual performance and tips earned. This makes working at Kura Sushi an attractive opportunity for those seeking rewarding employment in the restaurant industry.
The company offers a comprehensive benefits package including meal discounts, flexible scheduling, career growth opportunities, and a generous employee referral program. Kura Sushi is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where diversity is celebrated and equal opportunity is provided to all applicants regardless of background, identity, or status. They uphold strict adherence to federal, state, and local laws protecting employees against discrimination.
