Hai Hospitality is currently accepting applications for full-time Sushi Prep Cook positions, an entry-level culinary role designed to provide foundational experience and skills necessary to eventually become a sushi chef. This position is ideal for individuals eager to learn the art and craft of sushi preparation from the ground up in a professional restaurant setting. The role offers a structured environment with extensive training and mentorship to help new cooks develop proficiency in essential tasks such as fish fabrication, sauce preparation, vegetable and produce prep, and sushi rice preparation. Working as a Sushi Prep Cook, individuals will be responsible for the efficient and meticulous production of ingredients and ensuring the sushi line is set up for success each day. This position operates primarily from Monday through Friday, 11 AM to 8 PM, offering consistent hours and a shift schedule that supports work-life balance.
The salary range for the Sushi Prep Cook role is competitive, ranging from $16 to $20 per hour, depending on experience.
