The line cook/prep cook position at Kura Sushi presents an exciting opportunity to join this dynamic team. Line cooks and prep cooks are integral to the daily operations, responsible for ensuring that all dishes are prepared to Kura’s high standards of freshness, taste, and quality. Candidates in this role should be team players who go above and beyond to meet customer expectations while maintaining organized and efficient kitchen operations. This position requires a keen understanding of food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness to deliver a consistently excellent dining experience.

The role offers both full-time and part-time hours, providing flexibility that accommodates various schedules. Interested applicants should be at least 18 years old and ideally have availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays to support the restaurant during peak times. Compensation includes an hourly wage of $9.00 plus tips, with example earnings reaching up to $16.00 per hour depending on tips. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook fresh sushi and other menu items according to Kura standards
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards
  • Organize and multitask efficiently during service
  • Work collaboratively with team members to provide excellent customer service
  • Learn and improve sushi preparation techniques
  • Follow all restaurant policies and procedures
  • Assist with inventory and food prep
