Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Pan Asian or Japanese kitchen on the kitchen line
  • Knowledge of Japanese cooking techniques and cuisine
  • Available to work evening and PM shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to maintain calm under pressure
  • Passion for providing exceptional food and guest experiences
  • Eligibility to work in the US

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Pan Asian or Japanese kitchen and on the kitchen line
  • Knowledge of cooking Japanese techniques or cuisine types
  • Able to read and follow recipes accurately
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Creative flair to assist in menu creation
  • Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness in food preparation

Job Duties

  • Experience with making and assembling sushi, sashimi, and maki rolls
  • Exposure to cooking with Japanese ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Keeping our guests and customers well fed by preparing and serving our restaurant menus
  • Able to read recipes and create dishes that look and taste amazing, always following Ned's Club standards
  • Setup station, work on prep as assigned, follow FIFO, manage tickets during service
  • Tackle any glitches or issues head on, prioritizing the guest experience every time
  • Work alongside other line cooks, Chef and Front of House team and Management to deliver a seamless and smooth experience to every guest
