Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of sushi preparation experience in a professional restaurant environment required
- Experience preparing a variety of sushi, sashimi, rolls, and other Japanese-inspired dishes with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and presentation
- Previous experience working in a high-volume kitchen environment preferred
- Pastry or dessert preparation experience is a plus and would be considered an added benefit
- Must be flexible and available to work a part-time, on-call schedule, including varied shifts, weekends, holidays, evenings, and peak business periods as needed based on operational demands

Job Duties
- Apply advance knife skills required for making sushi and other Japanese dishes
- Maintain menu knowledge and attention to detail of plate presentation
- Ensure food quality is superior and correct any irregularities
- Conduct inventory on a regular basis of specified food items and proper par levels
- Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning as well as cleanliness and sanitation of assigned work areas
- Follow recipes according to Chef specifications
- Notify Room Chef or Sous Chef of challenges that arise and how they have been corrected
- Assist with pantry and preparation areas
