Job Requirements

  • Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner
  • Work requires a minimum of at least 4 years Cantonese Chinese cooking experience
  • Work requires ability to communicate in the Chinese (Cantonese) language
  • Work requires ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time
  • Work requires a neat appearance with good personal hygiene
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, pull, or push 25 lbs
  • Must be able to twist, bend, or reach with no significant boundaries
  • This position may be exposed to a smoke-filled environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare specialty food items in accordance to kitchen needs
  • Perform various job duties including operation of grill, fryer, broiler, oven and French top
  • Perform preliminary preparation work in a timely manner
  • Ensure ingredient supply levels are accurate
  • Move items from shelves to carts and transport to assigned stations
  • Maintain the required par of food items in assigned stations
  • Understand and maintain proper safety and health codes and regulations
  • Ensure all assigned areas are clean and free of debris
  • Assist with other job-related duties as assigned
