- 3 plus years of experience as a sushi cook in a high-volume, upscale dining establishment
- Extensive knowledge of sushi preparation, techniques, and ingredients
- Strong knife skills and ability to work with precision and speed
- Positive attitude, a sense of responsibility, and ownership of the position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Punctuality and reliability are essential

Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of sushi dishes including sashimi, nigiri, and maki rolls
- Ensure all sushi items are prepared with the highest quality ingredients and presented beautifully
- Maintain a clean and organized sushi station

- Monitor food stock and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a seamless flow of service
- Assist in developing new menu items and specials
