The role available is for a Sushi Cook, who will play a key part in delivering exceptional culinary experiences at this prestigious resort. The Sushi Cook will be responsible for preparing sushi according to established recipes and must possess basic sushi preparation skills along with good communication abilities. Candidates should have between one and two years of experience in a sushi cook role and be comfortable working multiple stations within a busy kitchen environment. The position requires the ability to stand for extended periods and work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Job Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years experience in a sushi cook position
  • Basic sushi preparation and recipe knowledge required
  • Must be able to work primarily night shifts
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Must have open availability including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid Food Handlers License required
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Completion of background check

Job Qualifications

  • Good communication skills
  • 3 years of previous line experience preferred
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred
  • Ability to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills
  • Able to work multiple stations in the kitchen
  • Requires moderate supervision and training
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must have open availability including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have a valid Food Handlers License

Job Duties

  • Prepare sushi in accordance with recipe guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of sushi station
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
  • Assist with inventory management of sushi ingredients
  • Operate multiple kitchen stations as needed
