Job Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years experience in a sushi cook position
  • Basic sushi preparation and recipe knowledge required
  • Must be able to work primarily night shifts
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Must have open availability including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid Food Handlers License required
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Completion of background check

Job Qualifications

  • Good communication skills
  • 3 years of previous line experience preferred
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred
  • Ability to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills
  • Able to work multiple stations in the kitchen
  • Requires moderate supervision and training
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must have open availability including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have a valid Food Handlers License

Job Duties

  • Prepare sushi in accordance with recipe guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of sushi station
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
  • Assist with inventory management of sushi ingredients
  • Operate multiple kitchen stations as needed
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
