Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Knowledge of kitchen safety protocols
- Ability to learn and retain information quickly
- Detail oriented and organized
- Prior experience in high volume kitchen
- Strong communication skills
Job Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in fine dining or casual fine dining high volume kitchen
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques including knifework, plating, portioning, and precision cooking
- Effective communication skills
- Strong organization and teamwork abilities
- Positive can-do attitude
- Intellectual curiosity
- Ability to work well under pressure
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes including sashimi, sushi, and grilled meats
- Maintain high culinary standards for food quality and presentation
- Work efficiently across multiple kitchen stations
- Follow kitchen safety and sanitation protocols
- Communicate effectively with management, peers, and guests
- Uphold cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Assist in inventory management and portion control
