Situated on the second floor, the restaurant offers a sophisticated yet casual dining experience divided equally between indoor spaces and an airy outdoor terrace and bar. Guests can also enjoy a relaxed beach bar atmosphere with service directly on the sand from Friday to Sunday, blending unique culinary experiences with vibrant social environments. As an establishment, Etaru prides itself on providing an exceptional dining journey through innovative Japanese cuisine and an inviting ambiance that celebrates community and culinary mastery.
The role of an Etaru Sushi Cook is intricately tied to this standard of excellence. This position requires a meticulous individual passionate about Japanese culinary arts, responsible for preparing high-quality sushi and sashimi dishes with precision and artistic detail. The Sushi Cook collaborates closely with the kitchen team to maintain and elevate Etaru's reputation for delivering fresh, beautifully presented dishes that delight guests. This role involves hands-on seafood handling including slicing, filleting, and proper ingredient storage to ensure all items meet the highest quality standards. A strong focus is placed on consistency, cleanliness, and adherence to established recipes and plating techniques.
Etaru celebrates a vibrant community ethos driven by core values that define every team member’s approach. Honor the Mastery emphasizes the pursuit of perfection and pride in craftsmanship; Do Unto Others fosters mutual support and warm interaction within the team and with guests; Embrace the Energy encourages passion and positivity at every level. These values shape the workplace culture, making it a professional yet dynamic and supportive environment for culinary professionals to thrive.
The Sushi Cook role is well suited for candidates with a genuine love for Japanese cuisine and a commitment to delivering memorable dining experiences. Ideal candidates demonstrate excellent knife skills, seafood knowledge, and sushi preparation techniques gained from working in high-volume restaurant settings. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential, as is the ability to function effectively within a large team.
Joining Etaru means stepping into a world-class brand that values detailed craftsmanship, from ingredient selection to guest interaction, offering remarkable career growth and international opportunities through its global network. Team members benefit from comprehensive professional training, competitive health benefits, and an inclusive, rewarding work environment that respects and celebrates their contribution to the restaurant’s success. If you are passionate about Japanese culinary arts and eager to be part of an innovative hospitality community, Etaru offers a unique platform to elevate your career and creativity.
