The Sushi Chef role at Happy Tuna Sushi & Crispy Rice is a pivotal position that requires both skill and passion for Japanese cuisine. This role entails preparing high-quality sushi items, from slicing fish to cutting vegetables and assembling sushi and sashimi dishes with artistic precision. The chef is responsible for cooking and seasoning sushi rice to perfection, ensuring each dish not only tastes exceptional but also meets the visual standards that define the restaurant's reputation. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in sushi preparation or related culinary role
- ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Commitment to hygiene and quality standards
Job Qualifications
- Experience as a sushi chef or similar culinary role
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation techniques
- Strong knife skills and attention to detail

Job Duties
