Job Requirements
- Technical, trade, or vocational school diploma
- at least 3 years of related work experience
- no supervisory experience required
- willingness to comply with company policies and safety standards

Job Duties
- Prepare special meals or substitute products
- regulate the temperature of ovens, grills, and roasters
- thaw food properly by removing it from the freezer and refrigeration
- ensure correct portioning, distribution, and dressing of food
- maintain accurate food records
- monitor food quality and quantity prepared
- communicate necessary assistance during busy periods
- report excess food products to the head chef for daily specials
- inform food and beverage service staff about rejected products and available specials
- ensure the quality of food products
- prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists
- prepare cold dishes
- assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees as a role model
- comply with all company safety and policy procedures
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management
- participate in safety trainings and certifications
- maintain professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards
- protect company assets and confidential information
- anticipate and attend to guest service needs
- communicate clearly and professionally with others
- cultivate and maintain positive working relationships to support team goals
- ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards
- perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, walking for prolonged periods, stretching, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 25 pounds
- perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
