Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food Safety Certification
  • Minimum six months of similar or related experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently
  • Ability to stand, walk and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
  • Vision adequate for detailed work with or without correction

Job Duties

  • Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
  • Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
  • Make an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
  • Assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading/unloading heavy items, noting and passing customer suggestions
  • Answer telephone promptly and take customer orders
  • Take customer orders at the Chinese Express counter
  • Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Practice proper sanitation procedures and keep work area clean
  • Review food freshness and prepare, finish, replenish products
  • Pull product from cooler/freezer for preparation
  • Check in product and put product away
  • Remove trash timely
  • Adhere to company policies and work schedules
