Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food safety certification
- Six months or more of related experience in food service
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly
- Visual ability with depth perception and field of vision
- Ability to perform climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- Ability to follow detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
- Basic math skills

- Ability to provide courteous, friendly and efficient customer service
- Ability to follow instructions both written and verbal

Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions
- Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- Learn and use customers’ names when possible
- Assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading/unloading heavy items, noting and passing along suggestions, performing tasks to enhance shopping experience
- Answer telephone promptly and provide helpful service including taking orders
- Take customer orders at the Chinese Express counter
- Work with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
- Review orders for the day
- Practice proper sanitation procedures and maintain a clean and neat work area
- Review food freshness and appearance
- Ensure adequate food supply and follow production lists
- Anticipate daily product needs
- Prepare, finish, and replenish products
- Pull product from cooler/freezer for preparation
- Check in and put away products
- Remove trash timely
- Adhere to company policies and store guidelines
- Report to work on schedule and on time
