The Sushi Chef role at Flagship Restaurant Group is crafted for those who possess superior knife skills and a passion for Japanese cuisine, even if previous experience as a sushi chef is not required due to a comprehensive training program available. The Sushi Chef will be responsible for preparing sushi dishes following recipes and specifications, ensuring ingredient freshness, maintaining cleanliness of the sushi bar and kitchen area, and collaborating with kitchen team members to provide efficient service. The Sushi Chef also assists with inventory management and ordering ingredients, while serving guests with exceptional customer service. Job Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a sushi chef or in a similar role preferred, but not required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining food quality and sanitation standards
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
