The current opportunity is for a Sushi Chef position that offers an hourly pay range of $16 to $20, plus tips, depending on the candidate's previous experience. This role is part-time, requiring availability for approximately 20-30 hours per week, particularly during PM shifts and weekends, which are essential to meet business needs. The position is ideal for candidates passionate about sushi preparation and eager to develop or hone their culinary skills in a fast-paced and exciting restaurant environment.
As a Sushi Chef at Flagship Restaurant Group, individuals will engage in hands-on sushi preparation, ensuring that each menu item is crafted to meet rigorous recipe specifications, presentation standards, and stringent food safety policies. The role emphasizes precision, cleanliness, and efficiency, and involves working closely with kitchen teammates, leadership, and front-of-house staff to deliver timely and high-quality service. Candidates will benefit from a thorough training program designed to enhance their knife skills and culinary knowledge, making this an excellent starting point for individuals new to sushi preparation but committed to learning and growing within the culinary field. With a strong focus on freshness, ingredient quality, and allergy safety, the Sushi Chef will maintain organizational and sanitation standards across all food preparation and storage areas throughout their shifts.

Full-time members of the team also gain access to an extensive benefits package that includes dental, vision, and life insurance. Moreover, employees enjoy dining discounts at all Flagship locations, which they can share with friends and family, further enriching their engagement with the brand and the hospitality industry. This role not only offers competitive compensation but also promises personal and professional growth within an organization that champions diversity, respect, and excellence in culinary arts and service.
