Job Requirements
- No education required
- Between 1 and more than 3 years of culinary experience
- Ability to obtain or possess valid local and/or state food handling permits
- Ability to perform well in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Physical ability to walk and stand for long periods, bend, reach, stretch frequently, perform repetitive manual tasks, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safety and food handling protocols

Job Duties
- Prepare all ingredients and food products to complete preparation lists, meet minimum and optimal inventory levels or PAR, follow rotation and recipe standards
- Use various preparation and cooking methods to ensure fast and accurate creation of menu dishes according to JOEY recipes, wash, chop, cut, grill, sauté, fry, coordinate with other stations as needed
- Maintain preparation and cooking areas clean, hygienic and safe
- Clean, organize and maintain proper operation of refrigerators, refrigerated drawers, ovens, preparation and dry storage areas
- Perform assigned opening, closing and other tasks to help the team succeed, support the kitchen team as needed
- Follow all safety instructions and guidelines for the use of kitchen equipment and cleaning products, report equipment or maintenance failures immediately to management
- Follow all safety precautions and food handling procedures
