We are currently seeking to hire a full-time Sushi Chef immediately at the Samsung location in San Jose, California. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $24.00 to $26.00, with the added incentive of an internal employee referral bonus. The shift generally runs from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, though specific days may vary. The Sushi Chef will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi and related food products, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for customers.

The role requires at least three years of prior experience in a sushi kitchen, highlighting the importance of skilled knife work, sushi preparation, and presentation expertise. In addition to culinary skills, the role demands strict adherence to corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation protocols. Key responsibilities include managing food storage properly, maintaining sanitation of all work equipment, and ensuring that food is served at the appropriate temperature and portions. The Sushi Chef will also engage directly with customers, explaining menu items and responding to inquiries, thereby enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
