Bon Appetit is currently hiring a full-time Sushi Chef at its Samsung location situated at 3655 North First Street, San Jose, CA 95134. This role is pivotal in providing customers with expertly prepared sushi and related dishes while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and presentation. The Sushi Chef position offers competitive pay ranging from $24.00 to $26.00 per hour, with a flexible daytime schedule typically between 6:00 AM and 2:30 PM, though days may vary. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of three years’ experience working in a sushi kitchen, demonstrating advanced knife skills and an in-depth understanding of sushi preparation and presentation. As a Sushi Chef at Bon Appetit, you will be responsible for managing food storage, ensuring proper handling and serving temperatures, and upholding stringent sanitation standards in accordance with corporate, state, and federal regulations.

In this role, you will interact directly with customers to enhance their dining experience, effectively communicating menu offerings and maintaining an inviting presentation of sushi and related food items. The position demands attention to peak production hours, readiness to assist with various duties as assigned, and a dedication to culinary excellence rooted in fresh, sustainable ingredients.
