Job Requirements
- Sushi service and prep experience required
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
- Ability to comply with company policies on food safety and sanitation
- Use of protective cut gloves and appropriate safety equipment
- Physical ability to handle kitchen tasks and maintain workstation cleanliness
- Availability for full-time employment
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
Job Qualifications
- Experience in sushi service and preparation
- High-level knife skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to interact effectively with customers
- Ability to work efficiently during peak service hours
- Experience in restaurant, catering, or special event food service
- Strong understanding of menu items and presentation standards
Job Duties
- Prepare and present sushi and related food products to customers
- Demonstrate high-level knife skills and sushi preparation techniques
- Store foods following corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures
- Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils
- Clean workstation thoroughly and keep display equipment free of debris during service
- Interact with customers to enhance dining experience and accurately explain menu items
- Keep up with peak production and service hours
- Perform other duties as assigned
