- Hours Wednesday-Sunday 2-10pm

Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a sushi chef or similar role in a high-volume or fine dining environment
- In-depth knowledge of traditional and modern sushi preparation rice techniques and knife skills
- Strong understanding of food safety hygiene and handling raw fish
- Creative approach to menu development and presentation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Food safety certificate preferred in VA
- Culinary degree or relevant training preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of sushi including nigiri sashimi maki rolls and specialty items with precision and artistry
- Ensure freshness and quality of all fish seafood rice and other ingredients
- Work with Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef to create a fresh enticing menu that changes regularly for members
- Maintain clean and organized workstations in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop seasonal and specialty sushi menus
- Engage with guests when appropriate explaining dishes and accommodating special requests
- Manage inventory levels monitor product rotation and minimize waste
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in sushi preparation and knife techniques
- Uphold consistent portion sizes and presentation standards
