Job Duties
- Acknowledge, greet, and engage all guests
- prepare various finfish, shellfish, and fresh produce items for sushi
- prepare, test, and maintain food safety records for sushi rice
- assemble, package, and label sushi, sides, and spring rolls for sale
- assemble custom sushi rolls upon customer request
- train and assist other Associates
- comply with all Food City and government food safety standards
- maintain high product quality standards
- monitor temperatures and shelf lives of ingredients and products
- keep workstation clean and organized
- know sushi menu and ingredients
- actively market Food City Sushi Program through sampling
- assist in ordering supplies
- maintain proper signage
- communicate customer comments to Meat Department Manager
- perform other duties as assigned
