Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of chef experience in fine dining
  • Strong knowledge of sushi and Japanese culinary traditions
  • Ability to time service seamlessly with chef pacing and multi-course menus
  • Fluent in English
  • Polished personal presentation with professional communication skills
  • Must be able to walk, stand, and bend for long periods, and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Execute sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and omakase courses with technical precision
  • Maintain strong knife skills and product awareness
  • Perform calmly and professionally in a high-touch, guest-facing environment
  • Coordinate timing of service with chef pacing and multi-course menus
  • Create positive and impressionable guest experiences
  • Collaborate effectively with the kitchen and serving team
  • Uphold standards of cleanliness and food safety
