The role open is for a full-time Sushi Chef located at Adobe, 333 San Fernando Boulevard, San Jose, CA 95113, with a pay range of $30.00 to $35.00 per hour. This position is essential for preparing and presenting sushi and related food products to customers while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with hours that may vary. The Sushi Chef will bring a unique combination of experience from restaurant, catering, and special events to enhance the guest dining experience.

The Sushi Chef position requires advanced culinary skills, including high-level knife skills and the ability to expertly prepare sushi with proper presentation, portion control, and temperature maintenance. The chef will ensure compliance with corporate, state, and federal food safety guidelines, including sanitation of equipment and maintaining clean workstations during and after shift hours. Interaction with customers is a key component, providing accurate information regarding menu items to enrich the dining experience.

Job Requirements

  • Food handler's card preferred
