Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of sushi-making experience
  • outgoing personality and ability to upsell
  • neat, clean, and sharp appearance
  • strong customer service skills
  • great listening and communication skills, fluent English is a must
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • able to lift up to 50 lbs to shoulder level repeatedly
  • able to work standing for up to 5 hours
  • remember instructions without visual aids
  • follow instructions accurately without close supervision

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of sushi-making experience
  • outgoing personality with ability to upsell

Job Duties

  • Prepare sushi including fancy rolls and fish preparation
  • create new dishes, rolls, presentations, and sauces
  • interact with guests and educate them on food knowledge at sushi bar
  • ensure all dishes are fresh and presentable
  • maintain cleanliness of the work area
  • work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • follow instructions accurately without close supervision
