Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Completes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required
Team members who work with alcohol are required to complete a Safe Alcohol Service training program
Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Requires regular and consistent attendance
Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
Provides excellent guest service
Interpersonal skills to communicate with all ages, genders, and personalities
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to take and follow direction
Responds with a sense of urgency
Prior work experience as a sushi cook or sushi products preferred
Ability to proficiently prepare food with knowledge of proper techniques and equipment
Must be able to clearly explain how food is prepared, cooked, and served
Advanced knife skills a plus

Job Qualifications

Previous experience as a sushi cook or in sushi preparation
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Strong knife skills preferred
Ability to explain food preparation and presentation to guests
High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

Preparation of all types of sushi line in accordance with approved recipes and portion controls
Follows and executes prep lists daily
Maintains policies and procedures to minimize food waste and theft
Cleans food preparation area and equipment after each use
Provides a professional image at all times through proper Cinemark culinary attire
Ensures that standard operating procedures and all preventative maintenance, safety, sanitation are consistently achieved
Consistently wipes down and sanitizes Employee and Guest high-contact areas
