The group is celebrated for its dedication to hospitality, innovative culinary artistry, and commitment to community enrichment. Among its distinguished brands are Uchi, Uchiko, Uchiba, and Loro, each providing unique dining experiences that blend craftsmanship with quality ingredients. Uchi Dallas, one of the flagship locations, is a vibrant hub for those who appreciate elevated Japanese cuisine delivered with meticulous attention to detail and a warm, approachable atmosphere. The establishment prides itself on fostering a work environment centered on collaboration, respect, and an unwavering passion for culinary excellence.

The Sushi Chef position at Uchi Dallas offers an exceptional opportunity for culinary professionals who aspire to contribute their expertise to a craft-driven, high-standard team. As a pivotal member of the sushi bar team, the Sushi Chef will play an integral role in maintaining the exceptional quality and consistency that Uchi is known for. The role demands not only technical proficiency in sushi preparation but also a genuine passion for food and hospitality, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

This role is compensated at a competitive rate of $25 to $30 per hour, commensurate with experience and position. In addition, a generous $1,250 sign-on bonus is offered upon the successful completion of a 90-day training period. Employees benefit from a comprehensive package including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Accident insurance options, mental health support through an Employee Assistance Program, and an employer-matched 401k savings plan. Dining discounts and clear career advancement pathways further underscore Uchi’s commitment to its team’s growth and well-being.

Uchi Dallas seeks candidates who exhibit strong attention to detail, consistency in their culinary output, and the ability to thrive in dynamic, sometimes high-pressure kitchen settings. Beyond culinary skills, the role emphasizes communication, professionalism, safety consciousness, and physical stamina. The Sushi Chef will be responsible for handling kitchen equipment safely, maintaining a hygienic workspace, and adhering to the company’s grooming and uniform standards. This position suits individuals eager to refine their craft, embrace feedback, and contribute positively to a team-oriented culture with humility and humor.

Joining Uchi Dallas means becoming part of a passionate community that values creative culinary innovation and exemplary service. This role offers a platform to develop specialized culinary skills within a supportive environment that values merit-based advancement. Employees are encouraged to take pride in their contributions, participate actively in sustaining high standards, and help create memorable dining experiences for guests.
