Job Description
Sierra Foothills Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is a well-established oral surgery practice serving multiple locations in California, including Roseville, Folsom, Auburn, and Sacramento. Our commitment is to provide compassionate, comprehensive surgical oral care with a focus on patient comfort, safety, and exceptional outcomes. At each of our four state-of-the-art offices, we utilize the latest technology and procedures to ensure the highest standards in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Our team-oriented environment fosters collaboration among surgeons, surgical technicians, and administrative staff to deliver seamless patient experiences throughout every stage of care. Joining Sierra Foothills Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery means being part of a healthcare community dedicated to innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
As a Surgical Technician within Sierra Foothills Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, you will play a vital role in supporting our surgeons during consultations and surgical procedures. This position demands a professional who excels in patient care and who strives to enhance office efficiency while maintaining strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards. You will be responsible for assisting with surgical operations, preparing clinical equipment, monitoring anesthesia, and ensuring that all necessary documentation and consent forms are accurately completed prior to treatments. In addition, you will provide patients with clear pre-operative and post-operative instructions, ensuring they understand their treatment plan and feel comfortable throughout their visit.
The role requires a dependable individual with reliable transportation as travel between our four office locations will be necessary. Candidates should be knowledgeable about OSHA regulations, radiation safety, and possess the skills to produce high-quality radiographic images. This position also involves maintaining a professional demeanor by upholding patient confidentiality at all times and fostering cooperative relationships with patients, doctors, and team members. We value flexibility and adaptability, so the ideal candidate will be willing to accept special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.
At Sierra Foothills Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, we prioritize a safe and supportive work environment featuring extensive standing and walking, occasional lifting and mobilization of patients, and handling of supplies up to 25 pounds. Employees must be prepared to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high attention to detail. This hourly wage position offers a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications, making it an excellent opportunity for dental assisting professionals looking to advance their career in oral surgery. Our practice aligns with US Oral Surgery Management’s POWER values—Passion for Patient Care, Outstanding Results, Winning Attitude, Embracing Continuous Improvement, and Respect for Self and Others—ensuring a fulfilling and rewarding work experience for all team members.
