As a subsidiary of Tenet Healthcare Corporation, a nationally recognized healthcare services company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, USPI focuses on elevating surgical care across communities by emphasizing clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and patient-centered service. USPI's extensive network spans hundreds of facilities nationwide, making it a prominent and trusted name in outpatient surgical care.\n\nThe Doctors United Surgery Center located in Pasadena, TX, is one such esteemed facility within USPI's portfolio. This state-of-the-art surgery center is fully accredited by The Joint Commission, underscoring its commitment to maintaining rigorous quality and safety standards. Doctors United Surgery Center features eight operating rooms and four procedure rooms, equipped with advanced surgical technology to support a wide range of specialty areas. These include Colon & Rectal Surgery, Gastroenterology (GI), Gynecology (GYN), Neurological Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Ear-Nose-Throat (ENT), Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Podiatry, General Surgery, and Urology. This breadth of service positions the center as a versatile and comprehensive outpatient surgical provider in the Pasadena community.\n\nThe Surgery Center Administrator role at Doctors United Surgery Center is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility. This role is pivotal in driving organizational success by managing administrative, clinical support, and business functions harmoniously. The administrator acts as a key liaison among the governing board, medical staff, facility leadership, and the USPI Home Office, fostering strong physician relationships and collaborative team dynamics. Additionally, the administrator ensures that the facility continually meets or exceeds regulatory, accreditation, quality, and safety standards critical to maintaining its Joint Commission accreditation.\n\nThis leadership position requires someone who is both strategic and hands-on, capable of managing operating, staffing, and capital budgets while monitoring financial performance and operational risks. The administrator plays a crucial role in workforce planning, staff performance management, and supporting physician credentialing processes to ensure seamless coordination of medical staff activities. They are also tasked with managing vendor, service, and physician contracts to optimize operational efficiencies and cost-effectiveness. Furthermore, the administrator supports and champions quality improvement initiatives, infection control protocols, and enhanced patient experience programs. This position is well suited for candidates with a background in ASC leadership or hospital surgical leadership with extensive exposure to ambulatory surgery centers.
