Rooted in core values of trust, respect, empathy, inclusion, and advocacy, Orangewood Foundation fosters a community where every young individual can thrive. Recognized as one of the best places to work, the foundation emphasizes a positive workplace culture, professional development, and mental and physical wellness for its staff. Its array of programs covers essential areas such as Basic Needs & Support, Education, Life Skills & Employment, and Transitional Housing & Support.
The Support Services Supervisor role is an essential leadership position within the foundation, reporting to the Support Services Manager and focusing on overseeing programs like the Lyon Workforce Academy, Advanced Studies Fund, and Scholarship initiatives. This full-time, salaried, exempt position offers an attractive pay range of $70,304 to $86,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans. The supervisor’s primary responsibility is to ensure trauma-informed, strength-based services that promote educational success, workforce readiness, and career advancement for current and former foster youth.

The role entails fostering partnerships with educational institutions, employers, alumni networks, and community organizations to enhance scholar engagement and optimize program outcomes. The supervisor also manages staff, oversees budgets and scholarship coordination, and utilizes data to measure program effectiveness and guide improvements. This position requires a demonstrated ability to handle high-stress situations involving participant crises with composure and empathy, underscoring the importance of self-care in supporting vulnerable populations effectively. Collaborative teamwork with other Support Services programs is critical to ensuring aligned services that meet participant needs holistically while advancing the Orangewood Foundation’s mission and strategic priorities.
