The Valet Attendant acts as the first point of contact for guests arriving under the Porte Cochere, providing courteous and prompt assistance in both valet and coat check areas. This role involves not only parking and retrieving vehicles efficiently but also maintaining accurate records of vehicle locations and guest information within the database system.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree preferred
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license from the state with a good driving record
  • Ability to maintain effective communication with guests and team members
  • Physical endurance and stamina required
  • Must hold a Level 4 Gaming License
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policy and procedure manuals
  • Ability to apply common sense reasoning
  • Ability to stand, walk, run, sit, use hands to handle objects
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Ability to see close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and adjust focus

  • Knowledge of safety and operational policies in a casino environment

Job Duties

  • Assist guests promptly and courteously in valet and coat check areas
  • Collect, store, track and return items dropped off by guests including promotional items
  • Greet arriving guests outside under the Porte Cochere
  • Enter and update guest information in the database
  • Park vehicles in designated areas and accurately record their location onto valet receipts
  • Pick up vehicles from the valet lot following safety guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with the Supervisor on duty
  • Clear canopy area of cars to be parked promptly
  • Communicate valet operation and shuttle information to supervisors and team
  • Present a clean, neat, and well-groomed appearance
  • Ensure maximum guest service and satisfaction
  • Maintain accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports
  • Maintain working knowledge of facilities and special events to advise guests and employees
  • Assist with other Support Services duties as assigned
  • Perform other job-related duties as directed
