The role available is that of a Valet Attendant, responsible for the safe operation and transport of vehicles on the property in accordance with established policies, procedures, and controls. This position demands a proactive approach to guest service, requiring attendants to assist guests promptly and courteously in valet and coat check areas. The Valet Attendant serves as a first point of contact for arriving guests, greeting them outside the Porte Cochere and assisting with the handling of their vehicles. Responsibilities extend to collecting, storing, tracking, and returning items including promotional goods dropped off by guests. Accurate recording of vehicle locations, secure handling of keys, and adherence to safety guidelines for vehicle pick-up are critical components of this role.

In addition to operational duties, the Valet Attendant plays an important part in maintaining department records, updating guest information databases, and effectively communicating with supervisors and team members regarding valet operations and shuttle information. The role also requires maintaining a clean and professional appearance and ensuring a maximum level of guest satisfaction. Attendants must stay informed about the property’s facilities and special events to provide accurate information to guests and colleagues when needed. Physical endurance, stamina, and effective communication skills are essential to meet the demanding pace and conditions of the job. This position also requires a Level 4 Gaming License and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

The work environment is lively and often involves exposure to outside weather conditions, with noise levels ranging from moderate to loud, and is typically smoky due to casino conditions. This role is integral to creating a fun atmosphere for all casino guests while encouraging mutual respect among employees. The Valet Attendant must be able to apply common sense reasoning to various situations and possess the physical ability to perform essential functions such as standing, walking, running, and using hands to handle objects safely. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree preferred
  • Valid driver’s license from the state
  • Good driving record
  • Level 4 Gaming License required
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Physical endurance and stamina
  • Ability to perform essential physical tasks including standing, walking, running, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling
  • Ability to read and interpret policy and procedure manuals
  • Capacity to add, subtract, multiply and divide
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries
  • Ability to work in a smoky, noisy casino environment
  • Willingness to adhere to safety standards and protocols

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assists guests promptly and courteously in valet and coat check areas
  • Collects, stores, tracks and returns items including promotional items dropped off by guests
  • Greets arriving guests outside under the Porte Cochere
  • Enters and updates guest information in the database
  • Parks vehicles in designated areas and accurately records location on valet receipts
  • Picks-up vehicles from the valet lot following safety guidelines
  • Communicates effectively with the Supervisor on duty and team
  • Maintains a clean, neat and well-groomed appearance
  • Ensures a maximum level of guest service and satisfaction
  • Maintains departmental records and reports
  • Stays informed about facilities and special events
  • Assists with other Support Services duties as assigned
  • Performs other job-related duties as directed
