The role of an Alamo Runner is pivotal in delivering this exceptional service. As part of the food and beverage team, the Alamo Runner supports theater guests by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food and drinks directly to seats following the venue floor maps. This role is integral to maintaining a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment by adhering to company safety and hospitality standards. Alamo Runners are expected to be knowledgeable about the menu, including allergen information, and uphold responsible alcohol service by verifying identification and monitoring consumption according to local and state regulations. The position requires a focus on minimizing guest disruptions while anticipating and responding quickly to guest needs.

Alamo Runners engage in a variety of responsibilities such as conducting quality food checks, maintaining cleanliness in the theater, lobby, and restrooms, and performing opening and closing duties. Teamwork is essential, as runners communicate effectively with managers, greeters, and production staff to ensure smooth operations. Alamo Drafthouse offers a competitive wage ranging from $11.35 to $14.35 per hour and provides flexible scheduling to accommodate diverse lifestyles and commitments.
